About Triticum aestivum

Fu Xiao Mai (Triticum aestivum) is light, shriveled wheat grain of the grass family, Poaceae, from common bread wheat, a cereal domesticated in the Fertile Crescent and now grown on every continent. The plant is an annual grass to 1.2 m with flat leaves and dense, bearded or beardless spikes. Fu xiao mai is the fraction of grain that floats when the harvest is washed, hence the Chinese name meaning "floating wheat", and it is thin, light and dull brown. We extract the dried fruit.

Tincture or alcohol-free drops?

Both start from the same dried plant material and cold maceration. The tincture uses organic alcohol as the solvent, keeps for years and is the classic herbal form. The alcohol-free drops (glycerite) use vegetable glycerin and purified water, taste mildly sweet and suit anyone avoiding alcohol. The amount of dried herb per serving is printed on each label.
