About Tremella fuciformis

White Fungus (Tremella fuciformis) is the snow fungus or silver ear, a jelly fungus of the family Tremellaceae, found growing on the dead branches of broadleaf trees in tropical and subtropical forests across Asia and the Americas, and cultivated in China for over a century. Its fruiting body is a translucent white, gelatinous mass 5 to 10 cm across of thin, wavy, seaweed-like lobes that resemble a chrysanthemum or a frilly coral. It dries to a hard, pale yellow lump that swells again in water,. We extract the dried mushroom.

Tincture or alcohol-free drops?

Both start from the same dried plant material and cold maceration. The tincture uses organic alcohol as the solvent, keeps for years and is the classic herbal form. The alcohol-free drops (glycerite) use vegetable glycerin and purified water, taste mildly sweet and suit anyone avoiding alcohol. The amount of dried herb per serving is printed on each label.
