Start with my childhood experiences. When I was a little girl, like the majority of children, I did not like porridge. Oatmeal was not an exception. Base porridge. You need:
80 g rolled oats
300 ml milk or water (or 50/50)
salt (optional)
Place the oats and milk in a saucepan on a medium heat. Bring to a simmer for 5 minutes. Add a pinch of salt.
Oatmeal with Banana, Cherry, Chia Seeds and Maple Syrup
Add to a base oatmeal 1/2 banana, 20-30 g frozen berries(cherry), 1 tbsp chia seeds, 2 tsp maple syrup.
Chocolate Oatmeal with Nutella, Coconut and Dried Cherry
Add to a base porridge 1 tsp cacao powder, 15 g dark chocolate, 1-2 tsp Nutella and mix. Serve with dries cherries, coconut shavings and chopped chocolate.
Milk Oatmeal with Jam
Add to a base porridge your favorite jam (1-2 tbsp). Serve with chopped almond.
