Cudrania, Chuan Po Shi (Maclura Tricuspidata) is a small dioecious deciduous tree of the Moraceae family. It reaches a height of 6 m, and usually originates from East Asia. The leaves are small, pale, of yellowish-green color. The fruit is a complex aggregate-accessory fruit, 2.5-5 cm in diameter, after ripening of red or dark maroon-red color. There is red flesh with a few small brown seeds inside. Fruits ripen in November, after the leaves fall.
