Fo-Ti (Polygonum Multiflorum) is a climbing perennial of the knotweed family (Polygonaceae). The part used here is the root. In traditional Chinese herbalism it is called He Shou Wu; Fo-Ti is a common Western trade name, and it is also known as Chinese knotweed and fleeceflower. In modern classification the plant is also placed in the genera Fallopia and Reynoutria - the same plant.
-
WHOLE-ROOT LIQUID EXTRACT: Made from the dried root of Polygonum multiflorum, carrying the plant's natural spectrum of constituents rather than an isolated or standardized single compound.
-
TRADITIONAL ALCOHOL EXTRACTION: A classic alcohol-based tincture, made with organic alcohol, vegetable glycerin, and water, for a concentrated extract with a long shelf life.
-
HE SHOU WU / FO-TI: This is Polygonum multiflorum, the root known in traditional Chinese herbalism as He Shou Wu. The name comes from an old legend about a man named Mr. He - the origin of the name only.
-
NOT JAPANESE KNOTWEED: This is Polygonum multiflorum (He Shou Wu), distinct from Japanese knotweed (Polygonum / Reynoutria japonica), the resveratrol plant.
-
CLEARLY LABELED: Labeled by botanical name and plant part, so there is no confusion with Japanese knotweed or other plants.
