Long Yam (Dioscorea Hypoglauca) is a tuberous, perennial, creeping plant that belongs to the Dioscoreaceae family. It can grow up to 2-12 m in height. The leaves are heart-shaped and spirally arranged. The greenish-yellow flowers are inconspicuous and have six petals.
