The root is the part used. It is popularly called "Brazilian ginseng" and, in Portuguese, para toda, meaning "for all things," though it is not botanically related to true ginseng. It is also known by the botanical synonym Hebanthe eriantha. The root naturally contains compounds such as ecdysteroids and saponins. What is the difference between the tincture and alcohol-free versions?
