- We strictly use ethically sourced raw material, organic alcohol, and vegetable glycerin USP
Yarrow (Achillea Millefolium) is a perennial wildflower of the daisy or aster family (Asteraceae). It has soft, feathery, finely divided leaves - which is why it is also called milfoil, meaning "thousand leaf" - and flat-topped clusters of small white or pink flowers. It grows in meadows and along roadsides across much of the world. The part used here is the herb (the above-ground parts). The genus name Achillea comes from the legendary Greek hero Achilles.
-
WHOLE-HERB LIQUID EXTRACT: Made from the dried herb (aerial parts) of Achillea millefolium, carrying the plant's natural spectrum of constituents rather than an isolated or standardized single compound.
-
TRADITIONAL ALCOHOL EXTRACTION: A classic alcohol-based tincture, made with organic alcohol, vegetable glycerin, and water, for a concentrated extract with a long shelf life.
-
THE HERB, SPECIFICALLY: This product is the herb (aerial parts). We also offer a separate yarrow flower extract - be sure to choose the part you want.
-
A WILD MEADOW HERB: Made from the botanical Achillea millefolium, distinct from the colorful ornamental yarrow cultivars grown in gardens.
-
CLEARLY LABELED: Labeled by botanical name and plant part, so there is no confusion with the yarrow flower product or with garden yarrow.
Achillea millefolium - Yarrow, the Thousand-Leaf Herb
Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is a familiar meadow wildflower, easy to recognize by its lacy, feather-like foliage and flat clusters of tiny flowers. Also known as milfoil, it has a long place in the folklore and herb gardens of many cultures. Our Yarrow herb tincture captures the dried aerial parts in a concentrated, alcohol-based liquid extract.
About our Yarrow Tincture:
We start with quality yarrow herb and use a classic, conventional alcohol extraction with organic alcohol, vegetable glycerin, and water. It is a whole-herb extract - not an isolate - carrying the plant's natural profile. This is the herb (aerial parts) of Achillea millefolium.
Suggested use: Shake well before use. Adults take 20-30 drops (approximately 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper) in 2 oz of water, tea, or juice, up to four times a day, or as directed by your practitioner. Drink the entire contents.*
Main Ingredients: Yarrow (Achillea Millefolium) Dried Herb.
Other ingredients: organic alcohol, vegetable glycerin USP, crystal clear water.
Additional information about ingredients: Contains NO gluten or artificial color.
Suggested Use: Do not use if seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool, dry place.
Safety information: Yarrow is in the daisy family (Asteraceae); if you are allergic to plants such as ragweed, daisies, marigolds, or chrysanthemums, you may also react to it, so use caution. Do not use during pregnancy, as yarrow is traditionally avoided at that time. Yarrow may make some people more sensitive to sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. If you are nursing or taking any medications, consult your doctor before use. Discontinue use and consult your practitioner if any adverse reaction occurs.

GREAT ITEM, QUICK SHIPPING
I'm impressed with the careful packaging of the bottles. No way they would get broken. My only complaint is so far I have not been able to open one of the bottles. The rim goes around but the rubber top does not cooperate. Any suggestions??
