This is an alcohol-free (glycerite) liquid extract of the dried root (rhizome) of Iris germanica (bearded iris; Iridaceae family). The aged orris rhizome is prized for its natural violet-like scent (from irones) and is a classic perfumery and aromatic material.

- Not for infants: do NOT use it for teething, and do not give it to infants or young children.
- Pregnancy / nursing: do NOT use - some irises may stimulate the uterus.
- Pets: keep away from dogs and cats - irises are toxic to them.
- Keep to the suggested serving; keep out of reach of children.
