Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) is one of the world's most prized culinary spices, sometimes called the "queen of spices," in the ginger family (Zingiberaceae). Its small, intensely aromatic seeds are found inside green pods and carry a warm, sweet, slightly citrusy scent. The part used here is the seed.

Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) is a classic aromatic spice long valued in cuisines from India to Scandinavia, flavoring curries, chai, coffee, and baking. Our Cardamom tincture captures the dried seed in a concentrated, alcohol-based liquid extract.

We start with quality cardamom seed and use a classic, conventional alcohol extraction with organic alcohol, vegetable glycerin, and water. It is a whole-seed extract - not an isolate and not the essential oil - carrying the spice's natural aromatic profile. This is Elettaria cardamomum, green cardamom, and specifically the seed.

Suggested use: Shake well before use. Adults take 20-30 drops (approximately 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper) in 2 oz of water, tea, or juice, up to four times a day, or as directed by your practitioner. See the safety information below. Drink the entire contents.*
