Epazote (Chenopodium Ambrosioides) is a pungent, aromatic annual native to Mexico and Central America, of the amaranth family (Amaranthaceae). The part used here is the herb - the leafy aerial parts. Epazote is one of the most important culinary herbs in Mexican cooking, where its bold flavor is used in dishes such as beans, quesadillas, and soups. In modern classification the plant is also placed in the genus Dysphania as Dysphania ambrosioides - the same epazote.

Epazote (Chenopodium ambrosioides) is a bold, aromatic herb at the heart of Mexican cooking. Our Epazote tincture captures the dried herb in a concentrated, alcohol-based liquid extract.

We start with quality epazote herb and use a classic, conventional alcohol extraction with organic alcohol, vegetable glycerin, and water. It is a whole-herb extract - not an isolate - carrying the plant's natural profile. This is Chenopodium ambrosioides, the classic Mexican epazote.
Suggested use: Shake well before use. Adults take 20-30 drops (approximately 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper) in 2 oz of water, tea, or juice, up to four times a day, or as directed by your practitioner. Do not exceed the suggested serving. Please read the safety information below before use. Drink the entire contents.*
