Longan Tincture & Alcohol-Free Extract

Longan (Dimocarpus longan, long known as Euphoria longan), the dragon's eye, is an evergreen tree of the soapberry family, Sapindaceae, native to southern China, Myanmar and northern Indochina and grown across Southeast Asia and the subtropics. It grows 10-20 m with a dense crown of glossy pinnate leaves and large sprays of small yellowish flowers. The round fruit has a thin, brittle, tan rind around translucent white flesh and a glossy black seed, which shows through like a pupil, hence the name. We extract the dried peel.
