Garlic (Allium sativum) is an herbaceous perennial plant with a complex bulb, numerous oblong-ovate sessile bulbs, enclosed in a common white membrane. Bulbs can be white, yellowish, dark violet, pink-violet in color. Garlic propagates vegetatively with the help of bulbs. The leaves are flat, linear, grooved on top, sharp, keeled on the bottom. The inflorescence in the form of an umbrella is covered with a membranous cover until flowering. *

Glycerites can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some glycerites are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.
