Yellow Cow Wood is a shrub or tree, that has smooth of flaky brown bark and crimson red flowers. Yellow Cow Wood grows naturally from southern China to Borneo in sub-tropical and tropical forests, including kerangas forests and peat swamps. Leaves and bark of this plant have been used medicinally.*

Glycerites can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some glycerites are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.

When I ordered this tincture I thought it was papaver somniferum, a sleep aid. I now understand that California poppy is a different genus. The tincture seems ok, nothing dramatic, but I guess it helps one sleep if you take the 30 drps as the instructions recommend.
