Kadsura Vine (Piperis Futokadsurae) is a twining vine which belongs to the Piperaceae family. It is cultivated mainly in Taiwan, Fujian and Guandong. The plant is represented by a woody climber. Stems have vertical ends with scarce hair and with roots at gnarls. The leaves are coriaceous, oblong, oval about 6-12 cm long with white spots. The leaves can be either short-pointed or obtuse. The flowers grow in spikes, which are situated opposite to the leaves. The berries are round, brown in colour and about 3-4 mm in diameter. *
