Bay (Laurus Nobilis) is an evergreen tree or shrub, growing to a height of 15 meters. Bay has up-straight naked shoots and brown, smooth bark. The leafy crown has a pyramidal shape. The elliptical blade of the leaf is narrowed at the base; from above it is glossy, dark green, from below it is much lighter. Unisexual small pale green-yellow flowers at the ends of the branches are collected in umbellate axillary inflorescences. The fruit is ovoid or elliptical, dark purple or black drupe.*

Suggested Use: Do not use if seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool dry place.

Suggested use and dosage for adults: Shake well before use. 20-30 drops (1 ml., one full squeeze of dropper), up to 4 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. The best way to use liquid herbal tinctures is to put the suggested amount in a glass of water, tea, or juice and drink the entire contents. Tinctures can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some tinctures are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.
