- Sunlight sensitivity: buckwheat, and especially its sprouts, naturally contain a compound called fagopyrin that can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight - avoid strong sun or tanning beds while using it, and stop if your skin reacts.
- Blood thinners: buckwheat is rich in rutin, so talk to your practitioner if you take a blood thinner.
- Pregnancy / nursing: ordinary food amounts are one thing, but for a concentrated extract consult a qualified healthcare practitioner first.
- Contains alcohol. If you take any medication or have a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use. Keep out of reach of children.
