Wood Betony (Stachys Officinalis) is a perennial herb. The rhizome is perennial, fibrous, short, vertical. Stem is erect, 30-60 (100) cm in height. Leaves are opposite, petiolate, oblong-ovate. The flowers are large, irregular, bisexual. The fruit is dry, consisting of four oblong, triangular, outside convex, smooth brown single-seeded nuts. Distributed almost throughout Europe. It is found in dry and damp meadows, elevated places, in shrub thickets and in glades and forest edges.*

Suggested Use: Do not use if seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool dry place.

Suggested use and dosage for adults: Shake well before use. 20-30 drops (1 ml., one full squeeze of dropper), up to 4 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. The best way to use liquid herbal tinctures is to put the suggested amount in a glass of water, tea, or juice and drink the entire contents. Tinctures can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some tinctures are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.
