Brucea (Brucea Javanica) is a small tree or a bush that belongs to the Simaroubaceae family. It can grow up to 5 m in height. The leaves are covered with fine hairs and consist of 7-9 oval or lanceolate leaflets with saw-toothed edges. The leaflets are about 20-40 cm long. The greenish red or greenish white flowers are very small and grow in whisks. The plant is monoecious which means that it has both male and female flowers. The black-grey fruit is a drupe with the length of about 0.5 cm. The seeds are light yellow with oleifera membranes.*
