Important safety information - please read before use
Dill is an everyday culinary herb, but a concentrated extract calls for a few cautions.
- Pregnancy / nursing: dill contains carvone (an aromatic ketone) and has a traditional reputation as an emmenagogue - do NOT use a concentrated extract during pregnancy, especially early pregnancy, and consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use if you are breastfeeding.
- Do not exceed the serving: large or concentrated amounts of dill oil are best avoided - keep to the suggested serving.
- Allergy: dill is in the Apiaceae (carrot/parsley) family - avoid it if you are allergic or sensitive to that family of spices.
- Do not give it to infants or young children.
- Contains alcohol. If you take any medication or have a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use. Keep out of reach of children.
