Ashwagandha is also known as Withania somnifera, Indian Ginseng, Avarada, and Withania. Ashwagandha is a small, shrub-like plant belonging to the nightshade family. The plant is native to India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, thriving in the semitropical environment of these regions. It produces small green flowers and round fruits that turn red when ripe. Fenugreek is also known as Trigonella foenum-graecum, Alholva, Bird’s Foot, Bockshornklee, Bockshornsame, Chandrika, Foenugraeci Semen, Foenugreek, Greek Clover, Greek Hay, Greek Hay Seed, Hu Lu Ba, Medhika, Methi, Trigonella. The stems are low, straight, loose and branching. The root is rod. The leaves on the stems are petiolate, with ovate-oblong leaves. Fenugreek blooms both at the beginning and in the middle of summer. Catnip is native to Southern Europe but is widely naturalized all over Europe and North America, where some of the best quality in the world is grown in the state of Washington. It is a 50–100 cm tall perennial herb resembling mint in appearance, with greyish-green leaves. The flowers are white, finely spotted with purple. Catnip is, as its name suggests, the herb of choice for cats.*

Suggested Use: Do not use if the seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool dry place.

Suggested use and dosage for adults: Shake well before use. 20-30 drops (1 ml., one full squeeze of dropper), up to 4 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. The best way to use liquid herbal tinctures is to put the suggested amount in a glass of water, tea, or juice and drink the entire contents. Tinctures can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some tinctures are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.
