These are photosensitizing - they can make your skin react more strongly to sunlight or UV, which may cause a rash, redness, swelling or darkened patches on sun-exposed skin. While taking it, limit strong sun and tanning-bed exposure and use sun protection.
- Blood clotting / surgery: Du Huo may affect blood clotting - ask your practitioner before use if you take blood thinners or are preparing for surgery.
- Medications: its furanocoumarins may change how some medications are processed - consult your practitioner if you take any medication.
- Drowsiness: it can have a mild sedative effect - do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you.
- Do NOT use during pregnancy or while nursing. Keep to the suggested serving; do not exceed it.
- Keep out of reach of children. Refrigerate after opening.
