Flax (Linum usitatissimum) is an annual, sometimes winter cultivated plant with a thin, straight, cylindrical, single, branched stalk on top. The stalks have up straight stems, up to 60 cm high. Leaves are sessile. The flowers are predominantly blue, sometimes white, rarely pink, collected in spreading thyroid inflorescences. The fruit is an ovoid spherical capsule with 6-10 seeds. Seeds are shiny, smooth, oblate, light brown in color. The plant blooms in June-July, the seeds ripen in August-September.

Chaste tree, or Vitex agnus-castus, is a flowering tree-like shrub in the Lamiaceae family. It’s a native to the Mediterranean region. Vitex can grow up to 4 m in height. The green leaves are oppositely arranged. The flowers can be lilac, violet or pink in color. The root system is many-branched with many accessory roots. The fruit is a black drupe in the form of a ball, not bigger than 4 mm across. 

Motherwort is a perennial herbaceous plant that is native to southeastern Europe and central Asia. The plant can reach up to 60-100 cm in height. The purplish stem is covered with short pubescence. The leaves are oppositely arranged and palmatilobate with long petioles. The flowers emerge in leaf axils on the upper part of the plant and have three-lobed bracts. The five-lobed calyx is bell-shaped. The color of the flowers can vary from lilac to pink. 

Black Cohosh is a herbaceous flowering plant in the Ranunculaceae family. The leaves are large and compound. The flowers usually grow on a tall stem (about 75-250 cm) forming racemes about 50 cm long. The fruit is represented by a dry follicle that can reach up to 5-10 mm in length, with one carpel. As a rule, it  contains several seeds.

Saint John’s wort is a flowering plant that belongs to the Hypericaceae family. The stem is straight and can reach up to 1 m in height. The leaves are oppositely arranged, oblong and narrow, 1-2 cm long. The flowers are bright yellow with 5 petals that have black dots on their edges. The fruit of the plant is a reddish-brown capsule filled with dark seeds. The plant blooms in June-August. Seeds are small, cylindrical, brown in color. The fruits ripen in September-October.

Dong Quai, or Angelica sinensis, is a perennial plant that belongs to the Apiaceae family and originates from China. The herb usually grows up to 3 feet in height. The stems are purplish with 12-36 five-petal, white flowers that are produced in umbels. The roots have strong fragrance. Chinese Angelica (Angelica Sinensis), commonly known as Dong Quai or "female ginseng". Angelica Sinensis grows in cool alpine mountains in China, Japan and Korea.

Wild Yam (Dioscorea Villosa) is a climbing tuberous vine that originates from eastern North America. It can grow up to 15 feet in length. The leaves are heart-shaped, with entire margins and distinct veins. The tiny flowers can be either male or female. 

Strength: Dry plant material / solvents ratio 1:3 w/v.
