Legs Relax Tincture
This is an alcohol-based liquid extract (tincture) of three herbs extracted together: the pungent root of valerian, the aromatic leaf of thyme, and quina - the bark of the Andean cinchona tree, the natural source of quinine. Each is also sold on its own. This is a traditional herbal product for adults only, with serious cautions - please read the safety information below before use.
- Valerian, root - Valeriana officinalis root (Caprifoliaceae)
- Thyme, leaf - Thymus vulgaris leaf (Lamiaceae)
- Quina (cinchona), bark - Cinchona officinalis bark (Rubiaceae) - contains quinine and related alkaloids
- Extract type: Alcohol tincture. Other ingredients: organic alcohol, vegetable glycerin, crystal clear purified water
- Origin: Responsibly sourced botanicals (valerian from the USA, thyme from Egypt, quina bark from Brazil). Gluten free. Made in the USA.
What is in the blend
- Valerian root - the root of a tall meadow plant of Europe with clusters of pale pink flowers; the root has a strong, earthy smell that is unmistakable once known, and it has been gathered in European herbalism for centuries.
- Thyme leaf - the small grey-green leaves of the low aromatic shrub of Mediterranean hillsides, the same plant as the kitchen herb.
- Quina bark - also called Peruvian bark or Jesuit bark, the bark of a cinchona tree native to the Andes, historically famous as the source from which quinine was first isolated. The whole bark contains quinine and related alkaloids in small amounts, which is why this blend carries the cautions below. It is not the same as quinine tablets (a prescription medicine) or tonic water.
Why a tincture
The three dried herbs are macerated together in organic alcohol with a little vegetable glycerin and water - the classic herbal method. A tincture keeps for years at room temperature in a cool, dark place, has a very bitter, earthy taste, and a few drops disappear in a glass of water or juice. A serving of 20 to 30 drops is roughly 1 ml of liquid, so the amount of alcohol per serving is small.
How to use
Shake well before use. Put the number of drops shown on the label into a little water or juice and drink it, up to the frequency shown on the label. Do not exceed the label serving, and do not use it for long periods without a practitioner. Do not drive or operate machinery after taking it. Store in a cool, dark place with the cap tight.
Tincture or drops?
If you avoid alcohol or prefer a milder taste, the same three-herb blend is available as Legs Relax Alcohol-Free Drops - the glycerite version. The herbs and proportions are identical; only the extraction liquid differs.

RELIABLE
The 1st bottle in this set and all previous orders have had sediment in them, I always thought that meant good potency however the 2nd bottle of this set I just opened, and it is transparent with no sediment. Did you change the formula, or if this is just a fluke. I still love your products, I j ..
I would definitely buy from this seller again.
So far so good
