Malva Sylvestris is a biennial herb of 30-120 cm tall. The stem is erect, mostly branched, usually covered with scattered hairs. The leaves are on long petioles, along the edges crenate-toothed, with rounded five-seven bladed plates. The plant grows in forests and parks, sometimes as a weed. The species range includes the southern half of the European part of Russia, the Crimea, the Caucasus, Central Asia, Western Europe, North America, North Africa, Asia Minor, and North-West India.*
