Suggested use and dosage for adults: Shake well before use. 20-30 drops (1 ml., one full squeeze of dropper), up to 4 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. The best way to use liquid herbal tinctures is to put the suggested amount in a glass of water, tea, or juice and drink the entire contents. Tinctures can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some tinctures are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.

What is Noni (Morinda citrifolia) fruit extract?
Noni extract is a dietary supplement made from the dried fruit of Morinda citrifolia, a small evergreen tree of the coffee family (Rubiaceae) that grows across the Pacific islands, Southeast Asia and India, where it is also called Indian mulberry, nonu, nono or mengkudu. The fruit is knobbly, pale yellow-green and famous for its strong, cheese-like smell when ripe; Polynesian communities have used the plant as a traditional food and home remedy for centuries. Our extract is made from the dried fruit, the plant part stated on our label, and is offered in two forms: a traditional alcohol-based tincture and an alcohol-free glycerite, each prepared from responsibly sourced raw material from India. This is a whole-fruit liquid extract that carries the fruit's natural spectrum of constituents, such as iridoids, polysaccharides and scopoletin - it is not noni juice, not a fermented product and not a standardized single compound. We label it by botanical name and plant part so it is clear this is Morinda citrifolia fruit.
What is the difference between the tincture and alcohol-free versions?
Both are liquid extracts of the same Morinda citrifolia fruit; only the solvent differs. This tincture uses organic alcohol with vegetable glycerin and water, the classic conventional method that yields a concentrated extract with a long shelf life. The alcohol-free version is a glycerite made with vegetable glycerin and purified water instead, for those who prefer to avoid alcohol. Choose the tincture for a traditional alcohol-extracted format; choose the glycerite if you prefer no alcohol. The fruit inside is identical, and the same safety notes apply to both.
Is this the same as noni juice, and how is it different from Ba Ji Tian or mulberry?
No. Noni juice is the pressed or fermented juice of the fresh fruit, sold by the bottle and taken by the glass; our product is a concentrated liquid extract of the dried fruit that you take by the drop in a little water or juice. Two other plants are easy to confuse with noni. Ba Ji Tian is Morinda officinalis, a related species whose ROOT is used in Chinese herbalism - a different plant and a different plant part, which we list separately. And although noni is nicknamed Indian mulberry, it is not a mulberry at all: the true mulberries (Morus) belong to a different family, and our Mulberry Leaf and Sang Shen (mulberry fruit) products come from Morus alba. Because these names overlap, we label this product clearly by botanical name (Morinda citrifolia) and plant part (fruit) so there is no confusion with noni juice, Ba Ji Tian or mulberry.
How do I use Noni Tincture?
Shake well before use. Put the number of drops shown on the label into a little water or juice and drink it, up to the frequency shown on the label. Noni has a strong, distinctive flavor, so juice masks it well; because this is an alcohol tincture, adding it to water also softens the taste. Do not exceed the label serving, and read the safety information below before use. Store in a cool, dark place with the cap tight, and keep out of reach of children.

Please read this carefully. Noni fruit has a long history as a traditional food, but a few points matter with a concentrated product. Liver: a small number of case reports have linked noni juice to liver problems; the link is not proven, but if you have a liver condition, take medicines that affect the liver, or notice yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine or unusual tiredness, stop use and seek medical care. Potassium: noni fruit is rich in potassium, so if you have kidney disease or take potassium-sparing diuretics, ACE inhibitors or potassium supplements, consult your practitioner first. Blood thinners: noni may interact with warfarin and similar medicines - consult your doctor if you take anticoagulants. Pregnancy and nursing: avoid use, as safety data is lacking. If you take any medication or have a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use. Keep out of reach of children.
