In China Peucedanum praeruptorum is primarily produced in Zhejiang, Henan, Hunan, and Sichuan. It is usually collected in autumn and winter or early spring when the cauline leaves perish or before the flower stalk appears. After that, remove the fibrous roots and soil, dry in the sun, and then slice. It is normally used raw or baked with honey. Peucedanum root contains coumarin compounds, coumarin glucoside compounds, D-mannitol, β-sitosterol, galactitol, daucosterol, etc. And coumarin compounds include praeruptorin A, B, C, and D, peucedanocoumarin Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, qianhucoumarin A, Psoralen, peucedanol, etc. Coumarin glucoside compounds include coumarin glucoside compounds, nodakenin, marmesin, skimmin, rutarin, praeroside Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ and Ⅴ, decuroside Ⅳ, apiosylskimmin, etc. *

Suggested Use: Do not use if seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool dry place.

Suggested use and dosage for adults: Shake well before use. 20-30 drops (1 ml., one full squeeze of dropper), up to 4 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. The best way to use liquid herbal tinctures is to put the suggested amount in a glass of water, tea, or juice and drink the entire contents. Tinctures can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some tinctures are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.

- Sun sensitivity: Peucedanum plants contain furanocoumarins, which can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight, so limit strong sun or UV exposure while using it and stop if you notice skin reactions.
- Medication interactions: its coumarins are handled by the liver enzyme CYP3A4 and may interact with some medications (similar to grapefruit), and may add to the effect of blood-thinning medication - if you take any prescription medicine or are approaching surgery, consult your practitioner first.
- Pregnancy / nursing: consult your practitioner before use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
- Short-term use: keep to the suggested serving and short-term use.
