- Fertility: shikakai saponins have a spermicidal effect - avoid internal use if you are trying to conceive or are undergoing fertility treatment.
- Eyes: keep it away from the eyes; if any gets in, rinse promptly with plain water.
- Pregnancy / nursing: do NOT use it during pregnancy, and consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use if you are breastfeeding.
