Butterfly bush (Buddleja officinalis) is deciduous or evergreen flowering bush which belongs to the Scrophulariaceae family and originates from China. It can grow up to 2.5 m in height. The inflorescences are represented by mauve yellow-eyed conical whisks about 8 or less cm long. The leaves are spear-shaped, not more than 15 cm long, a bit pubescent. Their upper side is bright green and the bottom part is grey.*
