About Eucalyptus globulus

Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus), the Tasmanian blue gum, is a towering evergreen tree of the myrtle family, Myrtaceae, native to Tasmania and southern Victoria and planted worldwide. It can exceed 50 m, with smooth bark that peels in long ribbons and sickle-shaped, leathery adult leaves dotted with oil glands. The leaves give off the sharp, camphor-like scent of cineole when crushed, and the warty, bluish fruit capsules give the species its name. We extract the dried leaf.

Tincture or alcohol-free drops?

Both start from the same dried plant material and cold maceration. The tincture uses organic alcohol as the solvent, keeps for years and is the classic herbal form. The alcohol-free drops (glycerite) use vegetable glycerin and purified water, taste mildly sweet and suit anyone avoiding alcohol. The amount of dried herb per serving is printed on each label.
