This is an alcohol-free liquid extract (glycerite) prepared from the dried bark of Jamaican Dogwood - Piscidia piscipula, a tree of the legume family (Fabaceae) native to the Caribbean and Florida, also called Fish Poison Tree and Fishfuddle. The dried bark is known in pharmacy as Cortex Piscidiae. This product is for external (topical) use only.
